Baltimore
Musicales
Thea’s passion for poetry and song led her to create Baltimore Musicales, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the art of the song recital.
From 2014-2025, Baltimore Musicales provided performance opportunities for outstanding regional artists and built community through shared musical experiences.
As executive and artistic director, Thea curated and produced over 150 programs of art song, opera, musical theater and vocal chamber music throughout Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Silver Spring, MD, featuring an extensive roster of professional singers and instrumentalists.

“One of the highlights of my holiday was Baltimore Musicales’ December concert. The programming was so appropriate for the times: a joyous celebration with a touch of quieter, sober thoughts. Each selection was beautifully performed. We are fortunate to have such outstanding vocal talent in this area.”
